Hello!

My name is Jon Walder, I’m a photographer based out of Moultrie, GA and Nashville, TN.

My interest in photography started while returning from a business trip from Australia. I had a day layover in New Zealand and had never seen anything quite like the NZ scenery, so I excitedly took an abundance of pictures with my point-and-shoot camera.

When I got back home, I reviewed the pictures I had captured and thought “these are terrible!”. The pictures didn’t feel anything like it was to be there. So I studied how cameras work and purchased my first entry level DSLR camera, challenging myself to make at least one good photo. Within two weeks I had taken a photo that I loved.

Almost nine years later and photography is still my passion.

When I pickup a camera I shoot instinctively, so the photos I make are very much my own. I love being able to experience a moment, capture it, then share the photos with others so they too may feel what it was like to have the experience.
